He is survived by: his wife Joan Richards of Athens; his children, Kent Farrar (Karen) of Azle, Jeff Farrar (Jaimé) of Athens and Wendy Richards Hill (Jeff) of Norman, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Justin Farrar (Sarah), Ryan Farrar, Cody Farrar, Kai-Leigh Farrar, Colton Farrar (Ashlee), Jessica Farrar (Nick Frederick), Kalon Melton, Bryce Walker and Brayden Walker; and his great grandchildren, Teagan Farrar, Emery Farrar, Kirkwood Frederick and Grayson Frederick.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Athens Cemetery (324 Lakeside Dr, Athens, TX 75751).
