He was predeceased by: his parents, Kern J. Harris and Helen J. Harris (Gorney); his wife Helen Hargett Harris; his daughter Cindy Harris Daves; and his siblings, Kern J. Harris Jr. "Sonny", James "Jimmy" Harris and Victoria Gassett.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Harris (Susan), Jeff Harris and Karen Soderquist (Ray); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Harris Nelson, Cassie, Josh Harris (Holly), Staci Hansen (Tedd), Dillon Harris, Cody Harris, Shane Harris (Michelle) and Marlie Bird. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
