He was predeceased by: his parents, Dell Wilson and Ethel Mae Wilson (Smith); his daughters, Deborah Gill of Virginia and Lisa Ann Standard; and his stepson Orlan Keith Brooks, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jean Wilson of Athens; his children, Janice Gail McCoy of Poynor and Nolen Edgar Wilson, Jr. of Athens; and his stepchildren, Cheryl Elaine Scoma of Azle and Richard Michael Brooks (Mary) of Crandall. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
