He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Boyd and Nonie Meador Boyd of Virginia; and his sister Willie Jean Boyd Rogers. He is survived by: his sister Wilma Dean Boyd Smith; his grandmother Faye Boyd Kimery; his brothers, William Kenneth Boyd (Mary) of Athens, TX., Hodge Weldon Boyd of Athens, TX. and Alvin Ray "Butch" Boyd (Lila) of Athens, TX.; and his daughters, Cathy Ann Boyd Duvall (Glenn) of Waynesboro, MS. and Karen Jo Boyd Upshaw (Mark) of Waynesboro, MS.. He is also survived by Five granddaughters and one grandson, 6 great granddaughters and 7 great grandsons.
