She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Whitehead and Nettie Hambrick Whitehead; her husband John Dora Jr.; her daughter Joyce Dora Hill; and her grandson Mario Faunta Davis.
She is survived by: her children, John Wesley Dora of Hutto, Ricky Dora (Elree) of Athens, Bobby Dora of Athens, Carl Dora (LaTinya) of Ft. Worth, Patrick Dora (Tasi), Jeff Mason of Dallas, James Mason of Dallas, Teresa Davis (Mario) of Athens and Linda Whitehead of Dallas; her brother Rev. Bobby Ray Whitehead (Christine) of Corsicana; and her sisters-in-law, Josephine Williams of Athens and Jerlene Stevenson of Athens. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
