She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hollie Ryan and Mabel Louise Ryan (Martin); her former husband James Hughes; and her brothers, Jack E. Ryan and David G. Ryan.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Hughes (Cathy) of San Angelo and Janie Hughes of San Angelo; and her sister Bonnie Sue Englehart (Bob) of Athens. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
