She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Nance and Joyce Nance; and her son Robert Eckert, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert Eckert of Athens; her sons, Kim Eckert (Ann) of Austin, Jay Eckert (Terri) of Athens, Dan Eckert, Ranchell of Hutto and Ben Eckert (Jo Ann) of Garland; her brother Terry Nance of San Marcus; and her uncle Frank Nance of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
