She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Ray Sims and Maxine Marie Peevey; and her brother Bobby Don Sims. She is survived by: her husband Miguel Melendez Ramirez; her children, Jenny Engle and Miguel Ramirez; her grandchildren, Ramon Ramirez III, Antonio Ramirez, Matthew Cobb, Angel Ramirez, Franky Ramirez and Joleah Martin; her great grandchildren, Braylon and Raider Ramirez; and her siblings, Jimmy Sims and Janet Stahl.
