She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Aline Melton (Grubbs). She is survived by: her father Charles Eugene Melton (Terry Hawkins) of Athens; her husband Chuck Ewald of Athens; her son Preston Ewald (Gabby Rodriguez) of Tyler; and her stepbrothers, Justin Hawkins (Heather) of Streetman, Dustin Hawkins of Houston and Marvin Newton (Lisa) of Trinidad. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752).
