She was predeceased by: her husband Weldon Slaton; her son Dale Slaton; and her brothers, Garvin Smith, Drayton Smith and Waylen Crossley.
She is survived by: her sons, Odean Slaton (Peggy) of Athens, David Slaton (Brenda) of Rusk and Dennis Slaton (Michele) of Jacksonville; and her siblings, Rita Perry (Lloyd), Rex Crossley, Roland Crossley (Sharon) and Roy Glynne Smith (Charlene). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
