It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Crist of Athens, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Lee Crist and Myra JoAnn Crist (Pinkerton); and his brother Stephen Crist. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Crist of Athens; his children, Sherry Gollrad of Mabank, Michael Crist, Jr. of Mabank, Amy Stelter (Jeff) of Arlington and Linda Stanfield (David) of Tyler; his sister Susan Harper of North Dakota; and his grandchildren, Johnnie Gollrad, Dallas Gollrad, Wyatt Gollrad, Joshua Crist, Mary Lorene Gould, Morgan Gould, Katelin Stelter, Kelsea Stelter, Will Stelter, Rylee Stelter, Kacy Lunceford, Katy Lunceford and Tyler Stanfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a local charity of choice.
