We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2022, at the age of 68, Michael Wayne Bowland of Athens, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Bowland and Bessie Bowland (Miller); his son Joseph Luoma; and his sisters, Liz Rainey and Brenda Kay Bowland.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Bowland of Athens, Texas; his daughter Kimberly Benson (Tommy) of Lindale, Texas; his stepson Michael Watson of Houston, Texas; his sister Linda Walters of Rowlett, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Bessette (Melissa Buessing) of Dallas, Clinton Toth (Krystal) of Cash, Shandelle Clifford (Randy) of Canton and Katy Brielle of New Jersey. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
