She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Earl and Mattie Carie McCrory; and her siblings, Raymon, Clarence McCrory and Lula Mae Wade.

She is survived by: her husband Marvin Gardner; her children, Donna Nevil, Linda Stepp and Gerald Gardner; her grandchildren, Autumn Nevil, Nicole Davis, Natasha Gardner, Melissa Lebedeff and David Gardner; and her great grandchildren, Adalynn Lebedeff, Rowan and Oliver Davis.
