She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bane Floyd and Faye Eva Dosser Floyd; her husband Don Piper; her siblings, Loyce Smith, Joyce England and Wayne Floyd; her grandson Zach Piper; her great grandchild Jase Piper; her children, Donny Piper (Tina Piper), Shari Smith (Bryan Smith), Terri Okun (Jimmy Okun) and Kristy Sanders (Roy Sanders); her grandchildren, Julena Musick, Justin Hart, Jamie, Chris Rogers, Autumn Cambra, Jana, Brad Strange, Alyssa, Steve Steinhardt, Courtney Okun, Bobby Williamson, Trey, Brittney Piper, Justin Okun, Kaitlyn Duport, Michael Koch, Ricky Robertson and Travis Robertson; and her pet Sterling.
She is survived by: Elvis Presley. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the New Beginnings Worship Center Assembly of God (21530 US-287, Cayuga, TX 75832).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to her home church, Cayuga Assembly of God, P.O. Box 373, Cayuga, TX 75832.
