She was predeceased by: her siblings, William Avant Wofford, Hattie Sue Stuck and Jettie Martha Byrne; and her niece Therese Quitta. She is survived by: her parents, William A. Wofford and Mary Alma Wofford (Avant); her spouse Maynard Massengale; and her nieces and nephews, Cindy Wofford, Alec Wofford, Leslie Wood, Mal Byrne, Tim Byrne, Mary Anne Flatley and Tommy Byrne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Henderson County Retired School Personnel Association Scholarship Fund.
