She was predeceased by: her mother Lela Bell Barfield; and her siblings, Rudolph, Melvin Barfield, Lela Vern Hampton, Lee Gibbs and Peggy Rich.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn Johnson Stewart; her son-in-law Rex Stewart; her grandchildren, Shari Stewart Hollemans (Kevin), Kara Stewart Kent (Brandon) and Kayci Stewart Ramos (Iric); and her great grandchildren, Keagan Hollemans, Paxton Hollemans, Camren Kent, Garrett Kent, Cassie Ramos and Araceli Ramos.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Park (3100 FM317, Athens, TX 75752).
