She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Lee Godwin; her husband Tommy Gualdarama; her son Travis Buford (Homer); her father Travis John Godwin (TJ); her siblings, Johnny Godwin, Opal Jezek and Helen Smith; and her great grandchild Travis Buford.
She is survived by: her family Jesus; her daughters, Helen LaMae Buford and Melissa Lynn Wilcox; her grandchildren, Jason Buford, Kristi, David Etheridge, Chelsea, Jody Buford, Tommi, Amanda McBride, Cody, Crystal Etheridge, Ashley Tolson, Dennis, Ethin Tolson, Trent Tolson, Jaclyn, Farrah Fincke, Justin, Austin Buford, Courtney, Sarah Buford, Steven Couey, Jaylynn Gualdarama and Jenny; her great grandchildren, Jordan Blair, Joseph, Jordan King, Cheyanne King, Gracie Buford, Ty Buford, Jason Joe Buford, Megan Smith, Landon Etheridge, Kaylee Buford, Dalton Buford, Ali Buford, Hayden Bigger, Brayden Bigger, Kandace Hodges, Henry Fincke, Kelsie Hodges, Penny Fincke, Brody Leeds, Lakelyn Tolson, Riley Tolson, John Fincke, William Etheridge, Mary Etheridge, Samuel Fincke, Kooper Tolson, Elijah Etheridge, Kace Tolson, Opal Fincke, Andrew Etheridge and Dalton Franklin; and her great great grandchildren, Josephine Blair, Nova Gualdarama, Mateo Gualdarama and Hayson Buford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery (3100 FM317, Athens, TX 75752).
