She was loved and cherished by many people including: her child Lou Ann Bryan; her parents, Edgar Lawrence Bryan and Nannie Belle Bryan (DeVore); her siblings, Francis Sumrall (Bob) of Potosí, Calvin Bryan (Hazel) of Larue and Lillie Jane Walker of Bronte; her brothers-in-law, Jerrell Walker, Raymond Allard of Abilene Tx and Robert "Bud" Bonham of Abilene; her granddaughter Stephanie Scott Halbert of Mesquite; her niece Dorci; her grandchild Burns Flat of Oklahoma; her nephew Jody Duane Walker; her former husband John Swallows of Athens; her sister Betty Sue Allard Bonham of Abilene; her sons, Kendal Scott (Kim) of Athens and Barry Scott of Austin; her grandchildren, Andrew Scott (Bridget) of Athens, Bradley Scott of Athens and Ellen Scott (Christian Rivera Santos) of Houston; her great grandchild William Barton Scott of Athens; and her husband Billy Ray Scott of Bronte. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
