He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Smith of Athens; his children, Mary Kathryn Smith Niccolai (Albert) of Palacios, Anthony "Tony" Smith (Holly) of Plano, Paul Timmins (Jacque) of Tyler, Michael Timmins (Angie) of Longview, Stacy Timmins of Fort Worth and Kim Surls (Phillip) of Athens; his brother Guy Smith; his grandchildren, Aryn Alexis Smith, Zoe Grace Smith, Kaitlin Mayberry (Zach), Klaire Carter (Colton), Kelsey Ferguson (John), Tanner Timmins, Lynlee Smith (Justin), McKena Honnoll, Shelby Surls and Cole Surls; and his great grandchildren, Everly Ann Smith and Addie Grace Ferguson.
