She was predeceased by: her parents, Leila Bell and Emory Owens Barfield; her husband Paul Ward Hampton; and her grandson Heath Hampton. She is survived by: her sister Marge Johnson; her sons, Larry Hampton (Meg) and Bob Hampton (Sherry); and her grandchildren, Greg Hampton, Matt Hampton, Wade Hampton, Marcus Hampton, Dalton Thomas and Ranie Meyer. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
