He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent L. J.; his wife Shanda Cannon-Hocutt of Oklahoma; his daughters, Vanessa Hocutt-Jehangiri (Usman) of Prosper and Desaree Parsons (Trevor) of Waco; and his grandsons, Nathan, Zain, Ilyas (Ashar) and Bryatt. He was also cherished by aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
