Laura Sue Nelson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2024, at the age of 80, Laura Sue Nelson of Athens, Texas, born in Cushman, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura Sue Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Charley Arvil Hurley; and her brother Billy T. Hurley. She is survived by: her mother Marie Hurley (Barnes); her husband Robert Nelson of Athens; her children, Laura Wilbanks (Kevin) of Dallas and Bradley Nelson (Elaine) of Waco; her siblings, Sam Hurley of Cushman and Charlotte Ann Heyde (Fred) of Southside Batesville; and her grandchildren, Reagan Nelson and Landry Nelson.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in her memory to the: Hospice of East Texas Foundation or the Rotary Foundation.
