He is survived by: his sister Leslie Gunn; his nephew Ryan Gunn; his children, Eric, Tiffany Watson, Jason, Rhonda Watson, Lauren and Steven Day; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Richardson, Timothy Richardson, Ethan Watson and Aiden Griffith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Park (3100 FM317, Athens, TX 75751).
