He was predeceased by: his fathers, Roy B. James and Archie Maye James. He is survived by: his wife Jackie James; his children, Charlemagne Quarles (Jacob), Chantel James (Itzel) and Larry D. James II (Angel); his grandson Alex Quarles; and his siblings, Junior James, Rebecca Waters and Linda James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
