He is survived by: his wife Mandy Mitchell of Athens; his children, Kenny Mitchell Jr. of Nacogdoches, Shanon Elizabeth Mitchell of Nacogdoches, Daniel Rodrigo Mitchell of Colorado, Khrysta DeSee Lashley of Baton Rouge, Hannah Patrice Mitchell of Colorado, Nathan Allan Mitchell of Athens and David Ethan Mitchell of Athens; his siblings, Angela Mitchell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jerry Mitchell of Murchison and Sean Mitchell of Granbury; his grandchildren, Madison Mae Starkey and Isaac Rodrigo Ontiveros; and his parents-in-law, Frederick and Linda Lashley of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by four nephews; one niece; one great nephew and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to help cover Mr. Mitchell's funeral expenses.
