She is survived by: her parents, Lynn Randel Thompson and Pearl Ann Thompson (Thomisee) of Athens; her husband John Oden of Athens; her children, Alicia Carpenter (Wesley) of Athens, Shelby Reynolds (Josh) of Friendswood and Emilly Oden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her brother Stephen Thompson (Gina) of Forney; her grandchildren, Kate Carpenter, Ally Carpenter, Natalie Reynolds, Michael Reynolds, Zoey Reynolds and Mila Oden; and her close friend Rhonda Malone.
