Kathy Fender Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Fender of Athens, Texas, born in Key West, Florida, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Dewayne Henry and Opal Marie Stephens (Baker); and her husband Lonnie Fender. She is survived by: her children, Mandy Brittain (Josh) of Monahans, Lee and Angel Woodard (Matt) of Athens; her siblings, Natalie Wymore, Lloyd of Athens, Becky Hankins of Athens, Bubba Henry and Shelly of Athens; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Florence (Keith) and Lavon Burton (Mitch); and her grandchildren, Hunter Brittain, Brayden Brittain, Rylan Brittain, Hannah Fender, Oakley Woodard and Laramie Woodard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donation to be made in her memory to the Hospice of East Texas Foundation.
