She was predeceased by: her parents, Adie Cleon and Mattie Janette Carlisle; her husband Langley Roberts Hellwig of Beaumont, TX; her brother Joel C. Carlisle; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Carlisle and Dee Carlisle.
She is survived by: her son Austin Roberts Hellwig (Kristine) of Athens; her granddaughter Heather Lee Hellwig of Waco; and her brother Deward C. Carlisle of Jewett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
