She was predeceased by: her parents, William Buckner Hodge and Bessie Mildred Bass Hodge; her sisters, Betty Verene Hodge and Barbara Moorhead; and the father of her children L. D. Hicks.

She is survived by: her husband Bill Myers; her children, Gail Carnes (Travis) and Gary Hicks; her siblings, Buck Hodge, Jr. and Alice Sandra Wagoner (David); her grandson Brannon Carnes (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Layla, Remi, Cotton and Elliot Carnes (Sherry). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
