He was predeceased by: his parents, N. M. Jackson and Myrtle Estell Baker Jackson; and his siblings, Christine Everett, Doc Jackson and George Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Davis (Mike) and Matthew Jackson (Keisha); his brother James Jackson (Loy); his grandchildren, Chelsey Winningham (Luke), Justin Davis and Mattie Jackson; his stepgrandchild Terry Davis (Weston Davis); his great grandchild Makenzie Winningham; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Dylan Davis and Cody Davis.
