It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Morgan of Athens, Texas, born in Tyler, Texas, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clawson Eugene and Annis Myrtle Colston Martin; her brothers, Kenneth Martin, Gerald Martin and Billy Martin; her husband Waymond Ernest Morgan; her son Steven Morgan; and her grandchildren, Sean Jackson, Christopher Eddins, Aaron Morgan and Amanda Morgan.
She is survived by: her sister Jean Boles; and her children, Jill Tiner (Larry), Glenn Morgan, Melissa Hill, Terri Werlinger and Jeana Jackson (Rodney). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
