He was predeceased by: his parents, George Floyd and Melvina Estelle Newton West; and his brothers, Fred West, Troy West and George West.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Weston Montgomery of Athens, Trent Montgomery (Lauren) of Bullard, Natalie Clopton (J. P.) of Fairfield and Lori Jackson (Brady) of Fairfield; his great grandchild Julian Montgomery; and his brother Grady West (Sue) of DeLeon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
