He was predeceased by: his former wife Bennie Penton Meredith of Terrell Tx; his wife Jeanne Cargile Meredith of Lubbock; his siblings, Jack Meredith of Athens, Shirley Calhoun of Athens Tx and Emma John Jones of Athens, TX.; and his parents, Henry Meredith and Lillian Meredith of Athens.
