He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Alva Skiles and Minnie Skiles (Hendley); his siblings, Martele Davis, Johnny Skiles and Robert Mastin Skiles; and his great grandchild Sophie Kay Skiles.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Skiles of Athens; his children, Randy Skiles (Mary Dale) of Athens, Mike Hembree (Lisa) of Athens, Becky, Sharon and Brenda; his grandchildren, Scott Skiles (Lyndsi) of Frisco, Jonathan Skiles (Shelby) of Tyler, David Skiles (Jenny) of Tyler, Solomon Skiles (Courtney) of Athens, Christopher Hembree (Denise) of Athens, Staci O'Neal of Tyler, Sarah Dye (Wesley) of Dallas, Jennifer Crane of Athens and Jason Crane of Athens; and his great grandchildren, Bree, Harper, Ezra, Connor, Devin, Haley, Addison, Karli, Natalie, Jaden, Jackson, Knox and Maxwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and past in-laws.
