He is survived by: his wife Bridget Cook of Athens; his children, Justin Cook (Britney Reneau) of Athens and Lane Cook of Athens; his stepdaughter Sarah Specht (Karl) of Kentucky; and his stepsiblings, Jesse Fortner (Nicole) of Florida, Stephanie Fortner (Robert) of Quinlan, Amy Blair (James) of Mesquite and Sheri Hill (Rob) of Tennessee. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
