He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Alva Sparks and Thelma Ozell Sutton; and his sister Billie Maxine Nafe. He is survived by: the mother of his children Fredda Sparks of Murchison; his sons, James Sparks (Shelley) of Farmerville, Jason Sparks (Karla) of Caddo Mills and Jared Sparks of Lake Charles, Louisiana; his sister Dorothy Dixon of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Paden Sparks (Alex) of Carrollton, Allison Kempf (Nick) of Corinth, Jody Sparks (Carley) of Bedord, Jayla Brown (Will) of Bedford, Scott Sparks of Longview and Sadie Sparks of Longview. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
