She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Taylor and Loni Taylor (Lloyd Hood); her sisters, Faye and Doris; her son James Hood; and her grandson Jason Hood.
She is survived by: her son Don Hood (Lynda); her daughter-in-law Peggy Hood; her grandchildren, Gary Hood (Elizabeth), Bryan Hood and Janice Hood-Davis (Mark); her great grandchildren, Matthew Hood, Danielle Hood-Evans (Morgan), Logan Davis, Reagan Davis and Addison Davis; her niece Frances Abney; her nephews, Roger Rice and Raymond Rice; and her husband Lloyd Hood.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751).
