Gil Traverse Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2021, at the age of 76, Gil Traverse of Athens, Texas, born in Alva, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Traverse and Trescinda Traverse; his siblings, Austin Traverse and Sharon Traverse; and his grandson Caleb Wayant.

He is survived by: his wife Connie White; his children, Alan Traverse, Staci Traverse Wayant and Crystal Lakey; his sister Judith Schenck; and his pet Gracie.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Tunnels to Towers in support of fallen police officers, fire protectors, and veterans.
