She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Ellis Prather and Vena Mae Prather (Brock); her husband Durwood King; her son Philip King; her grandson Erin Kilcrease; her children, Patricia Arthus (Gary) of Athens, Terrie Berry of Lockhart, Darrell King of Montalba and Janey Lasley (Brian) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Craig Arthus, Carrie Arthus Smith, Christopher Arthus, Autumn Smith, Maegan Berry, Julie King Lewis, Jeremy King, Darrell King, Jr., Kendra Hammick, Luke King, Heath King, Blake King and Candi King. She was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in her memory to the Post Oak Cemetery Association or the American Cancer Society.
