He was predeceased by: his parents, Katy Thomas and Henry Thomas; his brothers, Sonny Thomas and Larry Thomas; and his son Kelly Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Thomas; his children, Tracy Thomas (Kym) of Temple and Kim Scoggin (Richard) of Weatherford; and his daughter-in-law Suzie Thomas of Leander. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
