He was predeceased by: his parents, William Soloman and Mary Ruth Benfer Roup; his wife Rachel Roup; and his son Larry Roup. He is survived by: his stepgrandsons, Scott Fisher of New Milford, Brian Fisher of Raleigh and Rodney Fisher (JoAnn); his daughters, Diana Hile (Bob) of Watsontown and Judy Tinsley (James) of Mt. Pleasant Mill; his daughter-in-law Jill Roup of Mifflinburg; and his son Gary Roup (Peggy) of New Columbia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
