He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd George Phillips and Erna Lou Campbell; his wife Sylvia Ann Phillips; and his sisters, Janette Phillips Vaughn, Helen Phillips Mann and Betty Lue Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Phillips (Teri), Mike Phillips (Susan), Kaylynne Phillips, Cathy Gaddis (Mike) and Daryl Lott; and his brother Aubrey Phillips. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
