She was predeceased by: her parents, Plummer G. Cowley and Willie Mae Cowley (McCurdy); her husband Lester Watts; her daughter Joyce Thorn; and her sister Margarite King.
She is survived by: her daughters, Saundra Robertson (Harvey) of Athens and Diane Watts of Elgin, Texas; her brother-in-law Dony Watts (Marie) of Longview; her son-in-law Danny Thorn of Plano; and her grandchildren, Angela Carlow (Jon), Jackie Wooley, Stephanie McManus (Bob), Danielle Thorn and Stephen Thorn (Allie). She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
