She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Sanders and Sarah Ellen Sanders (Boykin); her husband Robert Lee McCool; her daughters, Betty Ellen Wilkins and Dani Delain Prewitt; and her sisters, Dee Hendrix and Peggy Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Lari Smiley (Ricky), Peggy Culpepper and Jerry McCool (Sherri); her grandchildren, Rodney Shellenberger, Robert Shellenberger, Rusty Shellenberger, Dancey McCool, Kolten McCool, Brandi Yarbrough, Bryan Smiley and Prewitt of Montana; her great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Kolt, Avery, Blakelynn, Lucchese, Aspen and Bristol; and her siblings, Thelma Brown and James Sanders. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
