Elaine Simmons Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2023, at the age of 72, Elaine Simmons (Athens, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Chambers and Lydia Day Chambers; and her siblings, Henry Chambers and Clemmie Whitter. She is survived by: her husband Leon Simmons; her daughter Shannon Hall (Shann); her grandchildren, Chase Walker and Leanna Davies (Cooper); and her siblings, Hozea Chambers (Glenda) and Edrea Cokins (Michael). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Donations can be made in honor of Elaine to the Leukemia Society or to the Alzheimer's Society.
