With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Jean Ferguson of Athens, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, C. W. Sawyer and Odie Pascal Sawyer; and her son Charles Wright. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Wright and Richard Wright (Karen); and her grandchildren, Jason Wright, Jennifer Allen, Joshua Wright, Abbi Splawn, Jordan Wright, Chloe Wright, Sophie Wright, Jarrod Wright, Ansley Wright, Amy Magee and Andy Magee. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and extended family.

“My Grandmother was a special lady. My earliest memories of her were when she lived on Arrowhead Dr. in Athens with my two then young uncles Robbie and Ricky. I remember her taking my sister and I to get ice crem at the Dairy Queen in Athens where her mother worked my Grate grandmother. We always spent Christmas Eve at Grandmother's house throughout my childhood. May God bless my family and give peace to my two uncles Rob and Rick.”
