He is survived by: his children, Joe Funderburg (Crystal) of Council Bluffs, IA, Denisa Funderburg Love of Redwater, TX, Birgit Grubbs of Athens, TX and Mandy Schroter of Germany; and his brother Max Funderburg (Dinah) of Stamps, AR.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
