It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delia Joyce Cope of Athens, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father-in-law William Cope (Bill); her grandparents, Viola, Joe Trent, Mildred and Roy Hobbs; and her friend Joan Auerbach.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Cope; her parents, June Trent Abbie and Leroy Hobbs Sr.; her mother-in-law Deanne Kay Cope; her siblings-in-law, Kim and Bill Carlow; her stepdaughter Jennifer Jones (Ryan Jones); her grandchildren, Ava and Crew; her siblings, Leroy Hobbs Jr. (Tanya Hobbs), Trent Hobbs, Renay Crawford (Tim Crawford), Carolyn Kilcrease (Bert Kilcrease) and Glenda Curry (Doug Curry); and her close friend Nita. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
