It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Passini of Athens, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stephen Passini and Therese Marie Passini (David); and his adoptive son Earl McLauchlin. He is survived by: his wife Shyrl Passini of Athens; his children, Robin Berry (Abel) of Jacksonville, David Passini, Jr. (Patricia) of Houston, Megan Barrios (Franki) of Athens, Kennede Passini of Athens, Carter Passini of Athens and Jayden Passini of Athens; his daughter-in-law Martha; his siblings, John Passini (Patricia) of Hampshire, Illinois, Linda Jackson (Ken) of Orgon and Carol Buonvalanto (Jimmy) of Orgon, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Riddick Berry, Gaby Passini, David Passini III, Pearlita Passini, Avi Barrios, Ava Barrios and Aven Barrios. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
