It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Choate of Athens, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Choate and Ernie Mae Long Choate; and his children, Kevin Ray Choate and Melody Ann Harp. He is survived by: his wife Ivory Choate of Athens; and his sons, Bennie Choate (Brandi) of Malakoff and James Choate (Tonya) of Arlington. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
